What is SAST Reg 29?

SEBI’s takeover rules require promoters and anyone holding 5% or more to disclose when their holding changes by 2% or more (and on crossing 5%). Promoters also disclose smaller trades under other rules.

Open market vs others

Open-market buying by a promoter uses their own money at market prices, which many investors treat as a confidence signal. Off-market and inter-se transfers are often family or group restructuring.

Check the filing

From NSE’s public end-of-day data, collected each trading evening. Values in ₹ crore unless shown. A large trade or filing shows what happened, not why; it can be a hedge, a transfer or a portfolio change. Information, not investment advice.
